The Rotary International District 3450 Preserve Planet Earth Committee is proud to launch the Rotary Green Club Award, a groundbreaking initiative designed to recognize and celebrate Rotary clubs that demonstrate outstanding commitment to environmental sustainability.
As climate change and ecological challenges intensify, Rotary clubs have a vital role to play in protecting our planet. The **Rotary Green Club Award** empowers clubs to take meaningful action by adopting eco-friendly practices, leading green projects, and inspiring their communities to embrace sustainability.
Through this program, clubs will be evaluated on their environmental efforts—from reducing carbon footprints to promoting conservation and education. The most dedicated clubs will earn prestigious recognition, setting a benchmark for environmental leadership in District 3450 and beyond.

- Invite a speaker to talk about any PPE / SDG related topics to your club meeting, and post on club or district’s social media
- Conduct paperless meetings and adopt vegetarian menu in any 2 of your club meetings
- Appoint & Register your club PPE Chair with the District PPE Committee

- Contribute $5,000+ in cash to support the District PPE Fund
- Attend the District PPE Seminar or events
15+ points
- Organize or sponsor a PPE / SDG related service project with 30 participants or more (fewer points will be granted for smaller size projects)
- Join any District PPE’s Trips
- Join the Glacier Conservation Ambassador Training Programme
- Nominate any schools to join the Green School Award Programme
20+ points
- Contribute $10,000 to support the District PPE Fund
30+ points
- Have the highest number of participants in any District PPE’s Trips
- Contribute $15,000+ to support the District PPE Fund
40+ points
- Contribute $30,000+ to support the District PPE Fund

Basic requirements for clubs getting a chance to win the Chery EV car:
Participate in at least any two of the following events to support District’s Glacier Initiative:
- Attend the 2025-26 / 2026-27 District PPE Seminar
- Join or Sponsor any District PPE’s Trips
- Attend the Glacier Conservation Ambassador Training Programme
- Host a Glacier Conservation Ambassador presentation to any Rotary Club / School before 30 June 2027
