The Rotary International District 3450 Preserve Planet Earth Committee is proud to launch the Rotary Green Club Award, a groundbreaking initiative designed to recognize and celebrate Rotary clubs that demonstrate outstanding commitment to environmental sustainability.

As climate change and ecological challenges intensify, Rotary clubs have a vital role to play in protecting our planet. The **Rotary Green Club Award** empowers clubs to take meaningful action by adopting eco-friendly practices, leading green projects, and inspiring their communities to embrace sustainability.

Through this program, clubs will be evaluated on their environmental efforts—from reducing carbon footprints to promoting conservation and education. The most dedicated clubs will earn prestigious recognition, setting a benchmark for environmental leadership in District 3450 and beyond.

The United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide a clear blueprint, encompassing vital issues such as environmental protection, food security, and economic development, guiding us towards a better future.

Conduct paperless meetings and adopt vegetarian menu in any 2 of your club meetings
Appoint & Register your club PPE Chair with the District PPE Committee
Join the “Green for Charity” recycle competition

Participate in any of the following District PPE Events:
Play all the 5 PPE Kahoot Quiz games with your members during club meetings
Contribute $2000 cash to support the District GREEN FUND
Local Green ECO Tour/Visit
Attend the District PPE Forum or fellowship events

15+ points@

Contribute $3000 cash to support the District GREEN FUND
Win the championship in any one of the District PPE competitions
Organize or sponsor a PPE related service project with 30 participants or more, or less points will be granted for smaller size projects
Join the “Let the Glacier Cool” Trips

Basic requirements for clubs getting a chance to win the Chery EV car:

•⁠ ⁠To be a listed one-star Rotary Green Club before 20 June 2026

•⁠ ⁠Participate in at least any two of the following events to support District’s “Let the Glacier Cool” Initiative:

*Attended the 16 Aug 2025 PPE Seminar
*Join or Sponsor the 26-30 Oct 2025 DaGu Glacier Trip
*Attend the Glacier Conservation Ambassador Training (Nov 2025)
*Host a Glacier Conservation Ambassador presentation to any Rotary Club/School before 20 June 2026
